 Euthanasia

Euthanasia is defined as the decision that a person makes to end his/her life voluntarily under medical supervision. Euthanasia is the act that happens when a person is helpless either due to a terminal illness or a terrible accident decides this decision, and based on these conditions the patient in question makes this decision to end his/her life with the sole purpose of not continuing to suffer terrible endless pain in his/her body; that in most cases this torment is worse for the patient than death itself. Unlike a natural death, Euthanasia occurs with the consent of the evicted patient, so that his/her death is under medical supervision to make it less painful and quick, for example in the country of Colombia since 1997 it has been legalize because it was considered that the practice of Euthanasia is a humanitarian act for people, who have already been dismissed by doctors so as not to continue extending their suffering in the little that remains of their lives; hence, Euthanasia is a personal decision that can only be taken by people who suffer from terminal illnesses to put an end to their pain through death assisted and supervised by a doctor.
